Summer used to mean time playing outside, baseball, barbecues and hanging out with friends. But to our current youth, excitement for summer is often more related to the anticipation of extra free time to spend on their Xbox, PC or mobile device. In fact, recent reports estimate that people in the United States spend an average of 12 hours per week gaming. On May 1st the final Lifeline of the season will address current gaming trends. “Gaming Trends and Parenting Tips” will expose you as a parent to the latest games and help you know where to find resources that will guide you in discerning the gaming health of your child and its implications on the spiritual health of your family.

Parents of younger children are free to take advantage of our Wednesday night programming to avoid having to find separate child care.
